Hi Denise,
Thank you for your great question and I if I understand correctly, it sounds like you've added the
Disney Dining Plan to your 2014 vacation package. I've used the Dining Plan several times and love the convenience and value it allows our family. For each night of your stay, you'll have (1) quick-service meal, (1) table-service meal, and (1) snack for everyone in the party age 3 and up. (plus a refillable mug!) Think of these credits as a bank ... you can decide to dine at a table service location every night or you can decide to skip one night and dine at a table-service breakfast and dinner on the next, etc. You do not need to use the credits in the same manner each day.
With the exception of Cinderella's Royal Table, (1) table service credit will be redeemed from your total balance at Character Dining experiences (Cinderella's Royal Table uses (2) credits per person). Perhaps you might want to take advantage of multiple character dining experiences. These meals will be deducted as a typical table-service credit each time you dine.
I hope this helps, Denise, and feel free to write me back with additional planning questions. Character Dining is a great use of the Disney Dining Plan due to the out of pocket cost a guest would normally pay. I can provide you other popular locations known for great value while only redeeming (1) credit, too.
Happy planning and have a magical vacation!
