My DS is 11 and I have purchased the Disney Dining Plan. I noticed on my confirmation that it says Table Service-Child. Does he HAVE to eat off the Children's menu? Several menu's say 3-9 must eat off children's menu. Thanks!

    Hello there, Elizabeth!

I would first make sure that you have the correct age for your son set up in your My Disney Experience account with the correct birth date. At 11-years-old he should be under the Adult Disney Dining Plan. Please call (407) 939-5277 to make sure everything is set up properly for your upcoming vacation.

My son was 10 during our last Walt Disney World vacation and we did purchase the adult Disney Dining Plan for him. Some of the reservations had him listed as a child and some of them had him listed as an adult, even though I made all the Advanced Dining Reservations using the same My Disney Experience account. You will be happy to know that my 10-year-old was able to eat off the adult menu at every restaurant we dined at using our Disney Dining Plan. He was happy too - he eats a ton!

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Elizabeth!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
