Purchased the disney dining plan for a family of four. An extra guest will be joining us for dinner on one night during our stay. Can we still use our DDP for a sit-down dinner as long as the extra guest pays out of pocket?

    Hi Susan!

Yes, you can definitely use your Disney Dining Plan credits, even though your guest will not.  When you make the Advanced Dining Reservation, just make sure you stipulate which four of you will be on the plan, and which one will not.  And, when you check in for your ADR, I would state it again, and once again to your Server upon being seated.  All of this pre-planning is not necessary, but it will just make sure things move efficiently when your bill comes.

Thank you for the question, and I hope you have a wonderful Disney vacation!
