I purchased Disney 10 day hopper passes for my family on our first trip to Disney. Now we have a trip planned in August to use more of our hopper pass days. Do we need to decide which days we are going to which park and make reservation ahead of time?

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amy!

Oh, you must be SO excited for your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! (I can't wait for ours! :-) )

As Walt Disney World puts the final pixie-dusted plans together for the phased reopening of its theme parks and Disney Resort hotels, more and more information is being released through both the Walt Disney World website and Disney Parks Blog. Check out this Update on Walt Disney World Resort Operations--Including Theme Parks and Water Parks for reopening information, noting the section on Theme Parks & Water Parks. There, you'll see that "park attendance will be managed through a new theme park reservation system. To enter a park, both a park reservation and valid admission for the same park on the same date are required." Lucky for you, you already have half of those requirements: the remaining days on your Theme Park Tickets!

Looking for more about Disney's reopening? Head to the page Returning to a World of Magic, where additional super-useful information is posted.

Before the new park reservation system is activated, picking the parks you'd like to attend on each day of your visit is a smart idea. Initially, park attendance will be "limited in capacity and subject to limited availability or closure", so if you have an idea of your top choices, you may be able to secure just the right reservations for your family.

Once your magical vacation has begun, you can keep an eye on all of your plans by using the handy My Disney Experience mobile app. No need to remember all of those fun details; the app will do that--and so much more--for you!

Be sure to check both Walt Disney World's website and Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates on all things Disney, Amy. Then, come back and visit us at Disney Parks Moms Panel; we'll get you answers to all of your vacation questions. We love to help!
