Hiya Courtney, welcome to planDisney!
I see that you’re planning a visit to
Walt Disney World Resort this spring. That’s very exciting!
Courtney, you asked a really good question, and I confirmed with a Cast Member to make sure you have a clear answer.
I understand that you purchased the current
Disney+ subscriber ticket offer, which includes one admission per theme park, one theme park per day, for a total of three admissions over three separate days. These tickets do not require park pass reservations but must be used within 5 days of the date you selected when you made your purchase.
If and when you purchase a
1-day Magic Kingdom Park ticket, you will need to select which day you plan to visit Magic Kingdom as this is a date-based ticket. I did confirm with a Cast Member that you would be able to use your separate tickets on the same day.
Using your example, if you visited Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in the morning with your 3-day Disney+ subscriber ticket and then headed to Magic Kingdom with your 1-day Magic Kingdom ticket in the afternoon, you would be able to use your respective tickets for the applicable park.
Without knowing exactly which day you plan to visit Magic Kingdom, I checked pricing in April for a 3-day Park Hopper or a 4-day date-based ticket to compare that to a 3-day Disney+ subscriber ticket, and a 1-day Magic Kingdom ticket. It does appear that purchasing the two separate tickets as you are suggesting is the most cost-effective. Please note that pricing is subject to change between now and when you book any additional tickets.
I do recommend that you check all options to make sure you are getting the best possible price. But with that said, the scenario you have proposed is feasible!
I hope that answers your question, Courtney! If you have any other questions leading up to your trip, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at

Have a great trip!
