I love that The Most Magical Place on Earth offers special deals to U.S. military personnel and their families. Thanks to these offers, my family has been able to visit Walt Disney World multiple times. My favorites are the
discounted rates at Disney Resort hotels and the
amazing pricing on Disney theme park tickets, known as Military Salute Tickets. The newest offer this year allows you to visit the parks multiple times at an incredible price. I did a little digging and found on the
Shades of Green website that, for the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket with the Park Hopper Plus Option, you'll only be able to use the Plus Visits on dates that are not blacked out. Blackout dates apply to both Disney theme parks and Plus Visits.
Jason, I know this might not be the answer you were hoping for, but Hakuna Matata! There are still plenty of things you can enjoy at Walt Disney World. I recommend checking out
Disney Springs, it's one of my favorite spots for food and shopping. I highly recommend
Splitsville Dining Room; the sushi is fantastic, and there are so many options on the menu. There is sure to be something for everyone.
Bonus tip: Be sure to make a
theme park reservation, as they are required with Military Salute tickets. Also, inquire about the specially priced
Memory Maker for eligible service members.
