Welcome back aboard planDisney! I’m so glad you sailed by with another question, and this time about the Disney Cruise Line Beer Mug Savings Package. Let’s raise a glass and tap right into the details!
Disney Cruise Line’s policy states that the beer mug is intended to be used only during the specific sailing on which it was purchased. While I have seen Guests bring their mugs back on future cruises, you should not count on being able to use the same mug on a different sailing.
The good news is that purchasing a new mug is easy! You can order one before your vacation through
Onboard Gifts or purchase one after you step aboard. Once you have your Disney Cruise Line-branded beer mug, you can bring it to participating onboard bars and receive a 23-ounce draft beer for the price of a 16-ounce serving. Now that is what I call a pitcher-perfect savings at sea!
If carrying the glass mug around feels like a little too much extra cargo, ask the bartender to exchange it for a beer mug token. The token allows you to enjoy all the same benefits without lugging the hefty mug around the ship. When you are ready for your next refill, simply present the token at the bar. It is smooth sailing from there!
Richard, you may also bring up to
six beers on board per adult aged 21 and older at the beginning of the cruise. Each beer must be no larger than 12 ounces and packed in your carry-on bag; be sure not to pack it in your checked luggage. This can be a great way to enjoy a cold one while relaxing on your verandah and watching the ocean roll by. Cheers to that view!
