Hi, Randi!
Oh my goodness, giving the gift of a year of magic is just the sweetest thing! Of course, it would work out that you have also purchased a Walt Disney World Annual Pass for yourself as well. Random things like that seem to happen to me too, Randi, and sometimes all you can do is have a good laugh about it.
The official rule is that theme park tickets and
Walt Disney World Annual Passes are non-refundable, however, I have a few ideas for you. You could always reassign one of your Walt Disney World Annual Passes to your boyfriend, that way you could both enjoy a year of magic together. You both would make memories that would last a lifetime, however, maybe he purchased one for himself as well so then that wouldn't work out. I think your best option is to reach out directly to the V.I.Passholder support line and speak to a Cast Member directly. Explaining your situation to someone that works in that official department is really the only way to know the answer to your unique situation. You can call 407-WDW-PASS to speak to someone directly from about 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. each day.
I hope everything will work out for you, Randi. One thing is for sure, I know you are going to love using your Walt Disney World Annual Pass. I've been a passholder for years and it is the absolute best. I love being able to visit the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks pretty much whenever my schedule allows and all of the discounts that come with the program are a nice perk.
I have my fingers crossed for you, Randi. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Good luck!
Jackie H.
