We just purchased the discover ticket 3 park pass, and was wondering what kind of snacks and drinks we can take into the parks? I have very picky children and i am trying to save alittle here and there, if you knkw what i mean. Please give examples, thanks

    Hi Tracey!

My kids are also picky eaters.  Who am I kidding, so am I!  We often bring our own snacks and drinks in.  Pretty much the only rule is you can't bring in glass containers.  I bring bagged chips, pretzels, goldfish, granola bars, fruit, gummy bears and jelly beans.  My husband is addicted to Diet Dr. Pepper, which they don't sell at the parks, so he'll bring in his own cans of soda to drink.  I'll pack us bottled water and juice boxes.  I have started skipping bringing a cooler into the parks since we can get complimentary cups of ice at any Quick-Service restaurant to keep our drinks cold.  All bags and strollers are checked at security before you enter the parks, so if you happen to bring something in that is prohibited, it will be taken at that point.

I do like to splurge on popcorn at the parks.  They sell a refillable popcorn bucket that is good for your entire length of stay and is good for refilling at all of the parks including the water parks and Disney Springs.  After you pay the initial price for the bucket, refills are $1.50.

    Have a magical day!
