Greetings, Allison, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to see you back hEAR!
I’m so sorry your visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort keeps getting pushed back. I understand just how frustrating this must be for you and your family! I checked the
“Update on Walt Disney World Resort Operations page,” under “Tickets,” and found the extension you mentioned. The website states, “Florida Resident Discover Disney Tickets may be used through September 30, 2020.” So, to find out what would happen if you’re unable to use the ticket until October, I contacted a Cast Member to get the scoop. The Cast Member told me that if the ticket remains unused and it does expire, you can save it and use it towards a new ticket purchase at a future date. The new ticket purchase would need to be done in person at
Guest Relations at any of the four theme parks, or at the
Disney Ticket Center in
Disney Springs.
If your family is needing some extra Disney magic while awaiting your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth, I recommend checking out the Disney Parks Blog and the fun and inspirational
#DisneyMagicMoments. Some of my favorite posts to check out include the “Ride & Learn” videos, where you get the chance to learn interesting facts about an attraction from a front-row seat! You won’t want to miss this "Ride & Learn" video for
Expedition Everest, or this one for
Slinky Dog Dash – two of my favorite attractions at Walt Disney World Resort.
Wishing you many pixie-dusted adventures this fall, Allison! Please stop by with any additional questions… we’re all EARs!
