12/15/2021 I purchased discount tickets through AAA. Instructions say to link my tickets via startyourdisneyexperience. However, when I tried through the app, I receive error that my tickets are at Will Call. How can I make my park reservation and link?

    Hiya Agatha! Welcome to planDisney.

The only thing I love more than visiting Walt Disney World Resort is saving money on my Walt Disney World Resort vacations! Getting a great deal means I have dollars left over for extra DOLE Whips and Mickey-shaped treats, and that is a magical thing.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble getting the tickets you purchased through AAA linked. As a military spouse, I usually purchase military-discounted tickets, and they can be tricky. It's a pleasure to help you get this sorted out so you can focus on the fun.

It sounds like you've already created your My Disney Experience account, but just in case, you'll need to make sure every member of your party has a My Disney Experience profile before you can link your tickets and make theme park reservations. On the Walt Disney World Resort webpage, click "Sign In or Create Account" and follow the steps to create your profile.

Once that's done, you'll be ready to link your tickets. I recommend doing this in the desktop version so you can then go right into making your theme park reservations. Hover over "My Disney Experience" on any Walt Disney World webpage. Then, click "My Plans," where you'll see "Agatha's Plans & Tickets." Scroll down and hover over "Park Tickets" and then click "Link Tickets." On this next screen, enter the Ticket ID number you received from AAA and follow the steps to link each ticket to a Guest in your party. If you have issues with the system accepting your Ticket ID, I recommend looking at the Sample Tickets on that page to help locate the Ticket ID.

Once your tickets are linked, you should be able to use the Disney Park Pass System to make your theme park reservations. Even if you need to stop by Will Call to activate the AAA tickets, you'll be able to make theme park reservations in advance by linking the ticket numbers. Then, when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, stop at Guest Relations to activate the tickets and let the magic begin.

If you run into any issues with My Disney Experience, a friendly Cast Member at the help desk will be happy to assist you. Once you've got your tickets linked and your profile set up, there is so much magic at your fingertips in the My Disney Experience mobile app, and I encourage you to explore the app and learn all its great features. The interactive Park Map, which shows wait times and can be filtered to find dining, restrooms, and Disney PhotoPass spots, is one of my favorite features.

Have so much fun with your planning, Agatha! Your pals here at planDisney are happy to help if you have any more questions as you plan and dream about your Disney vacation. Have the BEST time!

    Wishing you much magic,
    Robyn
