Hi Cj,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am delighted that you brought this question to us! We always purchase a
Dining Plan and find it to be a good value. The 2017 Disney Dining Plan includes one Quick-Service and one Table-Service meal plus two snacks per night of your stay. It also comes with a refillable mug that you can use at the resort. Yes, my experience is that the Table-Service meal includes one or two sides with the entrée. To know for certain what your side options might be, I suggest that you check the actual menus of the restaurants you plan to visit. For example, we love to dine at Be Our Guest Restaurant. The current
Dinner Menu includes Braised Beef, which comes with Seasonal Vegetables, Baby Potatoes, Balsamic Caramelized Onions, and Crispy Potato Curls. It is one of my favorite meals!
To locate the breakfast, lunch, or dinner menus for any restaurant, go to the Walt Disney World Website and with the current website configuration, click on "Things to Do," then click on "All Dining." Select the restaurant you plan to visit, then click on "View Menu." Once you pull up the menu, be sure you have selected either breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you eat at a buffet-style restaurant, you will get the full buffet for your table-service meal credit.
Also remember that you receive the number of meal credits per night of your stay. If you are staying for seven days/six nights, for example, you will receive six Quick-Service and six Table-Service meals per person over 3-years old in your party.
I hope this helps!
