We have purchased the dining plan for our upcoming trip (family of 7, including one 2 year old). We were also gifted a dining gift card from a family member. Can we use the gift card for paying gratuities at the table service restaurants?

    Hi Erin,

Glad to know you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort this coming fall. It is a beautiful time of the year to visit. You will be there right before the end of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival; however, you will also be able to play with Mickey and his friends as they celebrate the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort in Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

My family loves the Disney Dining Plans since it gives us the freedom to enjoy delicious foods around the whole Resort. So many options to choose! There are plans to fit every budget; however, they do not include the gratuities for Table-Service restaurants. You may pay these charges with cash, debit or credit cards including Disney Visa Cards from Chase, or even Disney Gift Cards. Or even easier: simply use your MagicBand and charge the purchase to your Disney Resort Hotel room folio; one of the many Disney Resort Hotel Guest Benefits.

One last tip: you can make advanced dining reservations up to 180 days before your Check-In. Use the My Disney Experience mobile app to make this really easy. Happy planning!

    Ricardo.
