We have purchased the dining plan for our stay at WDW. We want to see Fantasmic and would like VIP seating. Do we need to purchase an additional dinner package for that night or can we use our dining plan which has a table service meal each day?

    Hi Janice!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The Fantasmic! Dinner Package combines two of my favorite things at Walt Disney World Resort: an incredible dining experience and an amazing nighttime experience, Fantasmic!. My family enjoyed this package last month and the premium seating gave us the perfect view of the show. Based on your description, I think you are using the Disney Dining Plan, which includes one table service entitlement per day per person on your reservation. The great thing about being on a dining plan is that you can enjoy the Fantasmic! Dinner Package for the same number of meal credits as a normal meal at the restaurant. So if you are planning on eating at Hollywood & Vine or Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano, the Fantasmic! Dinner Package will be one table service credit per person, while it will be two table service credits if you are enjoying The Hollywood Brown Derby. Since availability for this awesome experience is limited, you will need to make a reservation for the Fantasmic! Dinner Package and then you will use your dining plan to pay for your package at the restaurant.

Be sure to arrive at the Fantasmic! theater at least 30 minutes in advance to get the best seats in the premium seating area! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
