I have purchased a dining plan. Can separate members of my family go to different places to eat? My children love fish and shrimp, but I have a life threatening shellfish allergy and would not take chances eating anywhere that is prominently seafood.

Hello Christina and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a very good question.

One of the many reasons why I love Disney Dining Plans is that they give Guests the flexibility to dine where they want and redeem their entitlements in any order they want. This also means that all members of the same party do not have to all dine together at the same restaurants.

If your children are old enough to use their own MagicBands with a PIN number to redeem Disney Dining Plan entitlements, then they are welcome to go explore new dining adventures – while you safely enjoy a meal that is allergy-free!

Speaking of Special Diets, if you have any concerns about your allergy, please know that you can reach out to the Special Diets team at Special.Diets@disneyworld.com ahead of your visit. They will help you navigate the dining experience and give more specific details on restaurants.

I hope this helps you while planning! Thank you for stopping by and come back real soon with more questions!

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
