We have purchased the Dining Plan and I was noticing that where it shows the items that we get for the Lunch/Dinner meals it says (Guest ages 3-9 only) next to the appetizers. Does this mean we aren't able to get appetizers since no one is age 3-9?

    Kathy,

This is a great question and I can clarify it for you.

Only guests ages 3-9 get an appetizer with their kids meal. It is not an adult appetizer that can be ordered by a child to be enjoyed by the whole table.

It is an appetizer such as grapes or celery with ranch dressing that is part of the child's menu. Table service restaurants may offer children more varied options. For example, a child can choose between chicken noodle soup and a garden salad at '50s Prime Time Cafe in Disney's Hollywood Studios. It allows children who are often picky eaters to choose a well-balanced meal that agrees with their kid-like palates! While it is deemed an "appetizer", it's really just part of their overall meal and not a typical appetizer.

Any appetizers ordered by adults will be purchased as an out-of-pocket expense rather than as part of the Disney Dining Plan.
