    Hello, I've purchased the deluxe dining plan and was wondering when I make my reservations, will a deposit be taken? I noticed that some of the restaurants require a deposit.

    Hi Janna!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    You will enjoy using the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, which provides the ultimate flexibility and value across the whole of Walt Disney World Resort, giving you 3 Meals each day (of any type, Quick-Service or Table-Service), 2 Snacks and a Refillable Resort Mug for those unlimited refills of fountain beverages, and coffee, tea and hot chocolate throughout the length of your stay.  Table-Service reservations are highly recommended, and can be made up to 180 days in advance, online or by using your My Disney Experience account.  You can also make reservations by calling (407) 939 3463.  As you have mentioned, a few restaurants do require advance payment.  These include Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park, and some dinner shows such as Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  To make a reservation at these locations you will have to pre-pay the full amount, but when you arrive at your table, advise your server that you wish to use your Disney Dining Plan and they will credit your card with the amount you have already paid.  Most other locations do require your credit card details to secure the booking, but you will not be charged anything in advance unless you cancel the reservation less than 24 hours ahead of time, or you are a 'no-show'.  If that happens, you will automatically be charged $10 (subject to change) per person.
