Welcome to
planDisney, Donna! Thanks for dropping by with your question.
Donna, I hate to hear that your little one was ill during your
Walt Disney World vacation. I know we've had our fair share of sickness over vacations and it is never a fun situation.
Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets and Disneyland tickets are two separate things. While they are both Disney, they are separate entities and tickets don't cross over between the two resorts. Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Also, once a Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket is activated (used for the first time) it does need to be used within a certain timeframe before it expires. A four-day
Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket expires 7 days after the first use of the ticket set whether you use all four days of your tickets or not. All that to say, I'm not sure it is going to work out the way that you hoped.
However, Donna, the best thing to do is to reach out to a Cast Member about your
past Walt Disney World visit and explain the situation to them. They'll be able to provide the most accurate information on current policies regarding your tickets. You can call
(407) 939-6104 starting around 7:00 a.m. It's best to call as early as possible to avoid long wait times on hold.
I hope you are able to get something arranged with your tickets, Donna. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Good luck!
Jackie H.
