I have purchased 3 day tickets for 5 of us and 1 person can not go now. Is there any way to get a refund for a ticket that has already been purchased?

    Hi Connie.

Generally speaking, Magic Your Way tickets are non-refundable after purchase. The primary reason for this is that as long as you don't use any of the days on the ticket, it will be good forever.  I have personally experienced Disney refunding a ticket on a very rare occasion when an elderly family member unexpectedly became ill and had to remain in our guest room for the duration of the trip. I was able to present her unused ticket to Guest Services to request a refund and it was kindly granted since her advanced age more than likely prevented her from a future visit.

If however, you have a package reservation that includes resort accommodations with tickets and/or dining plan, then changes made to your vacation up until 45 days prior to check-in will be fully refundable. Any changes that result in a lower package price from 44-6 days will incur a $100 penalty and after 6 days, a $200 charge.

Hope this helps answer your question. Please feel free to address more questions my way and sending you a sprinkling of pixie dust for a positive resolution to this issue.
