Purchased 2 day tickets, plan on attending on the 28th/30th of December. I was going to edit the window to the 27th - 30th to buy LL earlier, however, now the 30th has a line through it. Does that mean I can not attend during that day if I edit?

Welcome to planDisney, Bethany! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. You're about to visit Walt Disney World at one of the most exciting and fast-paced times of year, so it's super important that you have your tickets all set up and ready to go before you get there. I'm happy to walk you through what's possible, so let's jump right in!

Bethany, I want to assure you that what you're seeing on the calendar looks a bit scarier than it actually is. Right now, December 30th and 31st can't be chosen as a ticket start date, but that doesn't mean you can't go that day. Date-based tickets work on a use window, not just the start date itself. With a 2-day ticket, you have four consecutive days to use your two admissions. If you move your start date to December 27, your use window becomes December 27 through December 30, so you can visit on December 28 and December 30 exactly as planned. The strikethrough simply means "not available as a start date," not "blocked for entry" within a valid window.

If you're adjusting the start date to open your Lightning Lane buying window a bit earlier, that's a smart play. If you're not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can book your Lightning Lanes three days in advance of the start date of your ticket, beginning at 7:00 AM, so shifting your start date to the 27th allows you to act a day earlier than if you kept the 28th as your start date while still attending on your intended days.

After you make the change, hop into the My Disney Experience app and verify that your ticket shows the new start date and the correct use window. Everything should reflect December 27 to 30, with both of your intended park days comfortably inside. If you'd like extra reassurance, you can call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and Tickets and complete this process with a Cast Member over the phone. They can confirm that December 30 sits within your valid window and that you're good to go.

I hope this answers your question, Bethany, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
