Hello, Victoria! Your vacation to the most magical place on earth is just a week away, I bet you are getting so excited!
Park hopping is actually my favorite way to spend a day at Walt Disney World and I think you will enjoy it too. Since its return at the start of this year, the rules around park hopping do look a little bit different but it isn't hard to get the hang of it. To park hop, Guests must make a park pass reservation for an initial park each day. I see that you've purchased your tickets, linked them to your
MyDisneyExperience account and have already made those
park pass reservations so you are all good there. Each day you are wanting to park hop, you must scan in and enter the Walt Disney World Theme Park with the park pass reservation first. This sort of "activates" your park hopper option each day. There's no minimum or maximum time you have to spend at this first park, you just have to use up that park pass reservation by entering. Park hopping hours are now from 2:00 p.m. until each park closes daily. You do not have to make additional park pass reservations to park hop at this time.
To make things a little bit easier for Guests wishing to park hop during this time, complimentary park-to-park bus transportation is being provided. Around 2:00 p.m. or after, if you are ready to park hop, make your way out of the Walt Disney World Theme Park that you are currently at and head toward the bus stop area. You'll see signs letting you know which bus stop is dedicated to the Walt Disney World Theme Park you'd like to go to next. At the bus stop, before you board, there will be a Cast Member verifying that all Guests boarding the park hopping bus do, indeed, have the park hopper option added to their ticket. This is just a quick scan of your MagicBand or theme park ticket card. Once that is verified, you'll board the bus and be whisked away to your next destination.
My perfect Disney day starts off early at Magic Kingdom Park. My family and I love enjoying some of our favorite attractions with little to no wait time. If I could make one suggestion for your trip, it would be to plan early mornings inside of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. I'm always amazed at what arriving 45 minutes prior to the park opening time can do for our day. We are always able to cross so many must-do's off of our list before lunchtime. Arriving early really does set us up for such a great day. Then around lunchtime, when the parks tend to be the busiest, we typically head back to the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that we are staying at for some pool time, a quick nap or both! After we've had our fun in the Florida sun, we like to clean up and head to Epcot for the evening. It's so fun to have dinner snacking and drinking around The World Showcase and then enjoying some of those other must-do attractions closer to the park closing when the crowd has thinned out a bit. It's such a fun day.
Victoria, you are all set up to have a great Disney day too with park hopping! If you have any other questions before you leave, please feel free to reach back out.
I'm here to help.
Have fun!
