Hi there. We purchased 2 day tickets and found out the following day my wife's new employer has access to discounted Disney Tickets. Can we cancel/refund our tickets OR ask for a credit to match the employer benefit? Thanks in advance. Grant

Hello there, Grant. Thanks for taking the time to visit us on planDisney. Welcome!

That’s so great that your wife is able to get discounted theme park tickets to Disney Parks through her new employer. Every dollar saved is definitely helpful (and you can use that money towards a Mickey pretzel or churro at the parks!).

Unfortunately, I’m sorry to report that Disneyland Resort does not provide refund or cancellation on tickets. In the past, Guests were able to apply the value they paid for their tickets toward upgrade to additional days at the parks or an Annual Passport by the last day of their visit. However, since the sunsetting of the Annual Passport and no announcements have been made regarding a new membership program, upgrading is not currently an option.

When planning ahead, I’m glad to hear you’ll be able to purchase future theme park tickets at a discounted rate! As you continue to plan your upcoming trip, please don’t hesitate to write us again if you have more questions.

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
