I purchased 2day tickets for family online. However, as I bought them on my account (assigned correctly through connected family) I received the barcode. Will they be able to collect tickets with the barcode without me being there?

    Hiya Vicki!

Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet. Wow, Vicki, what a fantastic gift you have given your family! I am so excited for them to experience the magic of the World's Most Magical Celebration, as well as all of the other returning offerings. As Lilo would say, "Ohana means family," and there's no better place to create memories with your Ohana than at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Now, let's talk about how your family can use these tickets to experience the Disney magic! Ideally, you should have selected the option "This order will be a gift"upon checkout, as this checkbox would have allowed you to enter your family members' information. That way, if there were an issue with the tickets, or upon arrival, they would be able to stop by one of the ticketing booths and they would not have to show the ID and payment method of the person who purchased the tickets. However, since you linked the tickets to your family members' My Disney Experience profiles properly, they should be able to use them without the help of a Cast Member. Indeed, by linking a MagicBand to their account or by using the Disney MagicMobile Service, they should be able to go to the main entrance of their reserved park and tap in with no issues! To add a new MagicBand to their My Disney Experience mobile app, they can click on "My Profile" and then on "MagicBands & Cards." Similarly, they will be able to download their tickets into their digital wallet by clicking on "Disney MagicMobile" in the three-line menu.

Once their tickets are settled, make sure to look at all the amazing offerings returning to the Walt Disney World Resort! Starting on June 23rd, 2022, the famous Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review will return to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort with its finger-lickin' good meal and hilarious musical numbers. This experience is highly popular, so I would recommend circling May 26th in your calendar as that is when reservations will be made available. Then, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more news about returning favourites such as the Tumble Monkeys at Disney's Animal Kingdom's The Festival of the Lion King and the reimagined Finding Nemo - The Big Blue... And Beyond! Since specific dates have not yet been announced for either of these returning experiences, I love following the Disney social media accounts and the Disney Parks Blog for the latest Disney Parks news. Lastly, get your hugs in by stopping by the character meet and greets. Hugs have officially returned to the Walt Disney World Resort, and they have brought so much magic with them!

I hope this was helpful, Vicki, and that your family will have the best day ever on their next Disney vacation. If you or your family members have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. As the fish of Pablo Sherman DDS would say, we swim together!

Have a magical day in the big blue world,
