We purchased (2) 1 day tickets for the end of the month while my husband was on a business trip. It now looks like we won't be able to use them. Since they're date specific, have we just lost that money? thanks.

Hi Chanon! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so sorry to hear that you aren't able to use your Walt Disney World Resort tickets on this trip! I totally understand that plans sometimes have to change, though.

I recently purchased tickets and made note of a few details on the ticket confirmation page. Under the heading "Changing Your Tickets" it stated, "You can make changes to your tickets, including your ticket dates, prior to December 31, 2019. There's no fee to modify. Tickets are nonrefundable." It also said, "After expiration date, the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price." While tickets are nonrefundable, there may be hope that you can at least change the dates to a time when they can be used!

You will want to call Disney directly at (407) 566-4985 and speak with a Cast Member about your options. They will be able to look up your exact tickets and offer the best solution for you. I recommend doing it as soon as possible though, just to make sure you are able to get the most value for your existing tickets.

I hope this information helps, Chanon, and that you get to visit soon! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
