Hello there Michele,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I'm thrilled to hear that you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort!
You are absolutely correct that you need both
theme park tickets and a
theme park reservation for each day you plan to visit the parks. It sounds like you've already purchased your park tickets, and if you did so on the Disneyland Resort website then it's possible that you may have already made your theme park reservations as well, since that is typically part of the purchase process.
The easiest way to check this is by visiting the
My Plans hub. If you made the park reservations during the ticket purchase process then you would see them on the bottom half of the page. If you don't see it there, then you can hover over the "Theme Park Reservations" circle and select the "Make a Reservation" button. It will then take you to the park reservations page and walk you through that process.
Keep in mind that park reservations are available six months out from the current date for standard theme park tickets. You can check current availability on the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar. Additionally, if you haven't already added it on, it might be worthwhile to consider adding the
Park Hopper option to your tickets! This adds more flexibility to your visit by allowing you to hop between both parks starting at 11:00 AM each day. If you'd like to purchase this add-on, I would suggest
calling a Cast Member at the Tickets line who can help walk you through the process.
Additionally, I'd also recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as you get closer to your trip. It is my favorite resource to find out all the fun things happening around the Disneyland Resort.
Thanks again for your question, Michele! I hope you have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
