I purchased 3-day tickets for my daughter and friend for May 2020, but that was obviously canceled. How do I go about converting those tickets (plus 7 more for family) for a 3-day May 2022 trip?

    Hi there, Frank!

Welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad you stopped by with your Disneyland Resort question! I’m sorry to hear that your family’s travel plans were cancelled last year. I hope that the wait will make your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth feel even more magical when it finally arrives!

I know the theme park closures were disappointing, but the great news is that many theme park ticket expiration dates were extended. Most unused, non-promotional tickets that were set to expire while the parks were closed are now valid through December 16, 2021. Link the tickets to your account on Disneyland.com or the Disneyland mobile app to check their current expiration date and make theme park reservations online for your group to visit the parks, pending availability. That said, if the extended expiration date arrives before you’re able to plan your vacation, you can still use the amount you paid for your tickets originally as credit toward new tickets at the current price. To inquire about applying your credit to ticket dates in 2022, please call (714) 781-4636 to speak with a Cast Member. Be sure to have your previously-purchased theme park tickets and Disney account information handy.

I hope this helps, Frank, and that your pixie-dusted family vacation is a dream come true for you all! Please write back to us with any other questions you might have.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
