Hi John!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! My favorite days are spent visiting the theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort. I'm sorry to hear your plans have changed, but let's see what options may be available for you.
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park tickets are valid for a specific number of days from their first use. Once you activate and use your 4-day ticket,
you will have 7 days to use all of the admissions on that ticket. Unfortunately, you cannot split your ticket and save one of those four days for a later day.
While this may not be the answer you were hoping for, I can share another option that you may want to consider. Before activating and using this 4-day ticket, you can modify the arrival date for your date-based ticket. You can do this on the Walt Disney World Resort website or your
My Disney Experience Mobile App. While you are unable to "downgrade" your ticket and receive a refund, if you could use this ticket on a different trip,
you may be able to change the dates and save the ticket for later use. If the dates you change to are more expensive, you would simply need to pay the difference from your previous purchase price. Then you would be able to purchase a 3-day ticket for your upcoming visit. If you have additional questions about your ticket or specific situation, you are always welcome to
call a Cast Member at the Existing Tickets for additional guidance.
2024 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Walt Disney World Resort with many updates and new experiences just around the riverbend, including the opening of Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom Park later this year! Whenever you choose to visit, I hope that you have a wonderful vacation and invite you to stop back by planDisney again in the future! You've got a friend in us!
Cheers,
Kristi
