I purchased a 1 day ticket for magic kingdom and my flight and trip got cancelled, how do I get a refund for my ticket?

    Hi Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney.

Gawrsh! I hate to read your plans got canceled. While Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable, you do have options. You have until midnight the day before your scheduled visit to the theme parks to change the start date of your ticket without penalty. So, grab your smartphone, and let's get to work!

Open the My Disney Experience Mobile App and click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner. Next, select "Tickets and Passes" to locate your ticket. Follow the prompts to "Change Ticket" and choose a new date. Please note, that theme park tickets are date-based priced. If your new selection is a difference in price, you will be asked to submit payment. If your dates change again, simply repeat the process. If you need further assistance give the Existing Tickets Help Center a call.

I highly suggest, going straight to the Disney Park Pass page to reserve your theme park of choice. Here is the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to verify your new date.

I hope your travels bring you back in time to celebrate The World's Most Magical Celebration. From specialty-themed treats in the 50th Anniversary Celebration Sips and Bites Guide to the golden Disney Fab 50 Character Collection, this is one party not to miss.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
