Hello there Kerry, and welcome to planDisney! I'd be happy to help you with your
Disneyland Resort ticket question!
I have great news to share, as long as the ticket has not been activated or used, you will be able to change the name on the ticket. You can
reach out to a friendly Cast Member on the Tickets Line, and they should be able to assist with updating the name. Also, it's ok if the name on the ticket doesn't match the name of the actual guest using the ticket since a Cast Member will take a photo of the guest during the first use of the ticket. For any entries into the parks or use of the ticket after that photo is taken, the Cast Member will match the photo to the guest rather than using the name.
I definitely recommend making
advanced dining reservations for your trip Kerry, and you're able to do that 60 days in advance. We usually like to make dinner reservations for table service restaurants, it's a great time of the day to rest our feet and enjoy a nice meal. Our favorite table service restaurants include
Blue Bayou Restaurant in
Disneyland Park since you can't beat the ambiance of the Pirates of the Caribbean boats floating by, and our other favorite is
Lamplight Lounge in
Disney California Adventure Park, we love the Cheddar Burger and the views of Pixar Pier!
I hope this information is helpful for your upcoming trip Kerry. I'm happy to help with any other questions you may have, so
don't hesitate to come back if I can assist in any way!
Have a magical day!
Melissa
