Hey Howdy Hey Katherine and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you so much for stopping by with your question about the expiration dates of your tickets. I will be happy to provide you with a little more information on the process so you can get the most from your tickets!
You have it right Katherine, all
theme park tickets purchased with Walt Disney World Resort do come with expiration dates. If you are unable to fully use your tickets in the allotted time, Hakuna Matata, you still may have an option! In most cases, Disney will be able to apply the price you paid for your tickets to newer tickets with expiration dates you may be able to use at a later date. This superpower, however, is usually only able to be demonstrated by our Cast Member friends you can reach via phone line.
What I would recommend you to do at this point, is enjoy your trip later this year and have the best time! Once your return and can take some time and plan when you will be visiting again, that would be the time to
reach out to Disney at (407) 934-7639 and speak to a Cast Member about your ticket situation. They should be able to apply what you paid for the unused days to your "new" ticket purchase with a newer expiration date.
As you continue to plan for your upcoming trip, there are so many things to look forward to when visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most Magical time of the year! Disney does go all out when it comes to celebrations across Walt Disney World Resort. There will be so much to experience in the parks, at the resorts and even in the shopping district over at Disney Springs! Follow along at
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news and special holiday happenings to get an extra dose of holiday cheer!
I hope this helps to get you an idea of the process to handle the unused ticket days. Please feel free to stop by with any other questions you may have, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
