Hi ya, Audra!
Welcome to planDisney, and hooray, “You’re going to Walt Disney World!” I know you couldn’t hear me from here, but I am proudly shouting and smiling ear to ear for you. There’s nothing better than purchasing your theme park tickets and booking your vacation. While I guess being there is better, and that will finally happen for you later this week! I’m so excited, it’s so close!
If you purchased your tickets separately from your Disney Resort hotel reservations, you can modify your theme park ticket using the
My Disney Experience app. Simply log on and navigate to “My Plans”. From there, select “My Tickets and Passes,” scrolling through until you find the ticket you wish to modify. Select the option to “Change Ticket”. That's where you will see the option to add days to your existing ticket and pay the additional cost of your upgrade. After that, you’re good to go and ready to enjoy more time at
Walt Disney World Resort!
Since you will be arriving in the next couple of days, you can also stop by
Guest Services at the front of any of the four theme parks to make any changes to your existing tickets if you don’t feel comfortable modifying on your own. A Cast Member there will be more than happy to help add on that extra day for you. I recommend completing this upgrade on day one of your visit, or even before your first day in the parks if you arrive early enough to do this.
If you purchased your theme park tickets as a Disney Vacation Package, you will need to modify the entire package to add additional days to your tickets. The easiest way to do this is by
calling the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line to make that modification over the phone. Since your trip is days away, I would make that call as soon as you can so that your vacation package is updated and ready to go!
Audra, I hope this helps answer your question so that you can complete your ticket upgrade. Enjoy each and every day you’re at the parks and soak in all the memories you’ll make.
See ya real soon,
Shantel
