Hi there, Tessa!
Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about the
Disneyland Resort. I hope you’re looking forward to visiting the Happiest Place on Earth with your husband and little one! You’re going to love exploring the magic of the theme parks together.
If you have booked a
vacation package that includes theme park tickets and hotel accommodations at a Disneyland Resort Hotel or a Good Neighbor Hotel, then your son will be considered his age at check-in for the duration of your visit and will not need a park ticket. However, if you purchased or plan to purchase your
theme park tickets separately, then he will technically require a ticket on the day he turns 3 years old and on all subsequent days. This rule is based on the requirement that children’s ages be provided when you book a vacation package, but not when theme park tickets are purchased individually.
I hope this answers your question, Tessa, and that your family has a vacation that is pixie-dusted to perfection! Please feel free to stop by again with more planning questions as your trip approaches.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
