Hi Kara! Welcome to planDisney.
Like you, I canceled a couple of Walt Disney World Resort vacations in 2020, and I know just how
not magical that feels. I’m so happy to hear you’re planning your comeback vacation in 2022! The magic is waiting for you when you’re ready.
You will be able to
apply the value of your wholly unused, expired theme park tickets to the purchase of new tickets for your 2022 visit, as long as the cost is equal to or greater than the value of the original tickets. I would recommend
calling the Existing Tickets phone number at (407) 566-4985 to speak with a Cast Member. If you know your 2022 visit dates, they can help you apply the value of your existing tickets to a future-dated ticket. Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets are non-refundable.
I recommend taking care of that as soon as you settle on your 2022 dates so you’re able to make
Disney Park Pass reservations. With reduced capacity in the theme parks, some parks are unavailable on certain dates, so locking in your plans early is a good idea.
Have so much fun dreaming about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Kara. Be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and updates – there will be lots to do and see next year and they will keep you up-to-date on all of it. Here at planDisney, we are ready to help with all your planning questions, so please come back and see us if you think of any further questions.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
