I had purchased a 2 day park ticket for my son for our original WDW trip in 2020- now rescheduled for this April however my son is not traveling with us this time. What options do I have for his ticket? If it expires can I repurchase a different ticket?

Hello, Dawn and welcome back to planDisney!

Thank you for consulting planDisney with your Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket question, it would be my pleasure to assist a fellow Canadian Disney fan.

Dawn, I recently had a similar experience with my family’s Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets which were unused. I took the theme park tickets with me on my most recent solo visit and visited a Walt Disney World Resort ticket window with the tickets in hand, and the Cast Member was able to apply the value of the unused tickets toward the purchase of future tickets. Since you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort soon, I recommend doing the same with your son’s unused ticket by visiting any theme park ticket window or the Ticket Center at Disney Springs. If you won’t be visiting Walt Disney World Resort, then you can receive assistance by contacting Walt Disney World Resort – Existing Tickets via the Chat, Email or Call feature.

You will be in time to enjoy Walt Disney World Resort’s Spring Festivities, such as the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and I hope you visit Bambi's Butterfly House - World Nature Near Imagination!

Using the My Disney Experience mobile app on the day of your theme park visit you could opt into the theme park ticket option called the Disney Genie+ service which will save you time in lines for attractions that offer the Lightning Lane entrance.

Please ensure you have secured your Disney Park Pass - Theme Park Reservations in advance of your arrival using your valid theme park admission.

Dawn, I hope this information is helpful, and I wish you a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort, thank you!
