Hi Matthew!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this Disneyland Resort theme park admission ticket question our way. Ooooh, I see that your trip to The Happiest Place on Earth falls within the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! Be sure to keep up with the
Disney Parks Blog as they'll post the full marketplace menus, usually with pictures that match each dish, soon.
I am so sorry Matthew that you're having a bit of ticket trouble. This is a tricky one. Typically
Disneyland Theme Park Admission Tickets are non-refundable. There is a way for most tickets to be upgraded to different admissions where you'd pay the price difference; however, ticket switches can only be for admissions at the same value or more, not less. Because you purchased Park Hopper tickets your options are a bit more limited. The best solution I can think of is that you can switch to 3-day 1-park-per-day tickets with the new
Genie+ Service added on, which is the exact same price as the Park Hopper tickets you have now. You can also upgrade to a
Magic Key annual pass, which would be a great value if you think you're going to return in the 12 months after this upcoming trip, especially when you consider that there are dining and merchandise discounts.
Do know that ticket-for-ticket upgrades are only allowed to be done in person at the moment (you can upgrade your tickets to a Magic Key in your
Disneyland Mobile App), which for you would mean waiting until the arrival of your vacation. Also, making any switch or upgrades
would impact your current
Park Pass Reservations. But it does look like your desired dates are currently set with plenty of openings in both parks according to the
Park Pass Reservation Calendar.
I'm so sorry that I couldn't be more helpful, Matthew. The Ticketing Cast Members might be able to offer more solutions. They can be reached at (714) 781-4636, but there's also a nifty 'chat' feature in addition to an email where you can send ticket-specific questions found above the blue rectangle on the right side of the page of this '
Help with Tickets' page. I hope that you're able to find a solution that works for you. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort planning questions, We're All Ears!
