We purchased a 4 day park pass before the park shut down for the pandemic. I know there was no refund available. Will the ticket still be valid in April of 2022?

    Hello Riley,

It's so great to hear that you're able to say "See ya real soon!" to Mickey and his pals as you plan your visit to the Disneyland Resort.

One note I can share about theme park ticket expiration dates is that the Disneyland Resort did extend the expiration dates for select theme park tickets purchased before or during the theme park closure.

You can take a look at the "Modifications and Cancellations" information on the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations page (you'll want to scroll down the page) to see the details on the extended expiration dates. The expiration date details will differ based on the original expiration dates of the tickets you previously purchased. My suggestion is to give a call to the Disneyland Resort Ticket Services team at (714) 781-4636 and speak with a Cast Member to confirm the expiration date for your tickets.

If you haven't done so already, you'll also want to be sure that you make your theme park reservations to visit the theme parks. You can use the "If you’ve already purchased a ticket: Make Park Reservations" features with the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations system.

One additional note I'll share is that typically the price you paid for theme park tickets can be applied towards the purchase of new theme park tickets, and so this gives you some extra flexibility with your plans.

Riley, as you are making your plans to visit the Disneyland Resort, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog as a way to stay up to date on all the magic that awaits you.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
