Hi there, Calyn, and welcome to planDisney!
How wonderful that you will be in the middle of the magic in just two weeks! Spring happens to be my very favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort. With it comes warmer temperatures, later sunsets, and the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. I spent this weekend at EPCOT and was reminded of why I believe Flower & Garden is superior to all other EPCOT festivals. While most people are familiar with the iconic topiaries and brightly colored festival blooms, the
outdoor kitchens and
Blossoms of Fragrance Presented by Scentsy delight scents of taste and smell! The avocado toast and fried cinnamon roll bites at BRUNCHCOT are definitely on my 'must enjoy again' list. As a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, I was required to make a theme park reservation to begin our day with these delicious treats, so let's see if that's the case for you as well!
Earlier this year, Walt Disney World Resort updated its theme park reservation policy so that ticketholders of
date-based theme park tickets are no longer required to make advance theme park reservations. This ticket type is usually purchased online with or without a vacation package and requires Guests to indicate intended use dates at the time of purchase. Non-dated tickets, such as special event tickets, Florida Resident tickets, Military Salute tickets, and Annual Passes, still currently require Guests to make advance theme park reservations. These reservations can be made at any point after the time of purchase (the calendar currently allows me to choose dates into January of 2025) pending availability. I just checked your dates, and if you do happen to need theme park reservations, all parks currently have availability!
Still not sure if your ticket requires an advance reservation? No problem! You can check out the list of ticket types
here or simply try to
make reservations online through your
My Disney Experience account. If the system won't allow you to make a reservation, then you won't need one!
I hope this was helpful, Calyn, and that you get the chance to enjoy the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival during your visit. While you're at
EPCOT, be sure to check out
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. It's an immersive experience that captivates Mouseketeers of all ages! If you have any additional questions as your vacation approaches, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Hakuna Matata,
Lizzie
