Hi Lauri! Welcome to planDisney.
My family had a magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort earlier this summer, and we did LOTS of park hopping! We love to eat at EPCOT, so we took the opportunity to hop over there for meals several times during our stay. Yum!
Here's how the
Park Hopper Option works: you will make
Disney Park Pass reservations for your first park of the day. Then, when Park Hopper Hours begin (currently at 2:00 p.m., but that is subject to change so always consult the
Park Hours calendar), Guests with the Park Hopper Option on their ticket may "hop" to the theme park of their choosing. You do not need a theme park reservation for any park you visit after the first one of your day. Two really important things to keep in mind are that you must enter the park you have a theme park reservation for before entering another park and that park hopping is subject to capacity restrictions. The Park Hopper Option webpage walks through all of this information and is a helpful resource.
Have so much fun hopping around Walt Disney World! My family had a great day where we started at Magic Kingdom Park, went back to our Disney Resorts Collection hotel for a break and a costume change, had dinner at The Hollywood Brown Derby at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and finished our night with EPCOT Forever fireworks. It was easy to use Disney transportation to make this day work, and we made some forever memories. You will too!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Lauri. If you have any more questions as you make your plans for zipping all over Walt Disney World, please come back and see us.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
