Hi Jeannette,
Thanks for visiting planDisney! Getting Lightning Lane is a great way to maximize your time in the parks. You’ll be able to skip the regular queue and enjoy even more attractions.
If you decide to upgrade to the
Lightning Lane Premier Pass, you will need to pay the full price. I know this might sound like a bibbidi-bobbidi bummer, but there are a couple of silver linings.
Buying both passes:Both Lightning Lane options only allow you to experience each Lightning Lane attraction once. The Premier Pass guarantees access to eligible Lightning Lane attractions once throughout the day. The
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, on the other hand, requires you to make reservations every two hours (or after you use your last reservation). If you purchase both services, you may be able to experience some attractions twice; once with the Premier Pass and potentially a second time if you can secure a Multi Pass reservation.
Keeping just the Lightning Lane Multi Pass:The Lightning Lane Premier Pass is currently priced between $300 and $400 per ticket, per day (prices subject to change). In comparison, the Multi Pass starts at $32 per ticket, per day (also subject to change). Depending on the size of your party, this could significantly impact your budget. Sticking with the Multi Pass, and even pairing it with a
Lightning Lane Single Pass when needed, can still help you enjoy the parks while staying budget-friendly.
I hope this information is helpful, Jeannette! Both options have their benefits, so choose whatever works best for you. I have some tips on how you can
stay on top of your Lightning Lane reservations if you need them. If you have more questions or need help with any other part of your trip, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’d love to share more tips and sprinkle a little pixie dust on your vacation.
Have a magical trip!
