Hi Gaby, welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question!
AH, the classic unused ticket. Whether something cut your vacation short or you just found yourself too tired, run down, and in need of Rapunzel's magic hair, sometimes those extra days happen and you end up locked back in the tower, with an expired, unused ticket, wondering when will your (Disney Parks) life begin again...
The good news is it can take on NEW life just as you asked! You've got a dream, and a planDrew-approved idea right there! To breathe new life into your ticket, repeat after me: "Flower, gleam and glow...let your power shine..."
Oh, wait...that's right, it doesn't work like that... silly me!
How it DOES work is the amount paid for an unused, expired ticket may be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket at the current price so long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. No need to evade palace guards (or horses, Maximus...), no Snuggly Duckling tunnel to escape through, and no need to outsmart the Stabbington Brothers, either (though let's be honest, it wasn't
that hard the last time, either.)
I suggest you simply light a lantern - I mean,
call a Cast Member - and be sure to have your expired ticket information handy. Luckily, you should have that in your My Disney Experience app, or in your original ticket purchase confirmation email. From there, you should be well on your way to having your BEST. DAY. EVER. in whatever park you weren't able to visit on, well...your previous BEST. DAY. EVER.
Whether you decide to visit
EPCOT with its incredible festivals and new
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure,
Disney's Hollywood Studios with Mickey and Mickey's Runaway Railway,
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land,
Disney's Animal Kingdom with Pandora – The World of Avatar, or
Magic Kingdom Park with its classic attractions, there's everything to love about
"The World's Most Magical Celebration!"
I sure hope that helps you see the light, Gaby, and thank you again for stopping by planDisney! If you have any additional questions, please come back and see us!
Here's your pan, here's your frog...
