Hi Shakira! Welcome to planDisney! It's great to have you stop by!
It's never too early to start planning your next Walt Disney World vacation! Once you have the trip marked on your calendar, the excitement starts to grow each day. With everything that goes into planning, having the extra time to map out your itinerary is helpful, especially with a longer stay. Nine days at the
Most Magical Place on Earth is plenty of time to fit in everything you have planned for your visit!
The
Park Hopper Plus tickets are perfect for families that want to pack in more throughout their stay other than just the theme parks. Since you purchased a 5-day ticket package, you are absolutely correct in your thinking! You'll get an additional five days to enjoy either the Disney Water Parks, miniature golf courses, actual golf courses, or the ESPN World Wide of Sports Complex. Currently,
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and the Sports Complex are unavailable, but since your vacation is still almost a year away, there is a great chance that these venues will open back up in time for your visit!
Including time for the Water Parks during a summer trip is a smart idea! The temperatures can get high on certain days, so incorporating a day or two around water activities is the perfect mix.
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is packed with so many exciting attractions and experiences for everyone in the family. The Surf Pool is great for all ages and is considered one of the largest wave pools in the country. I hope Blizzard Beach reopens in time for your visit for anyone daring in your group to try Summit Plummet. This attraction is a near-vertical drop down to the bottom of the slide. It's exhilarating, to say the least!
For your miniature golfing day, I suggest trying out
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf Course, mostly due to their fantastic location. It sits just behind the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels and is a short walk to
Disney's Boardwalk. You can make a full day out of golfing, exploring the Deluxe Disney Resorts in the area, and enjoying the activities on the Boardwalk. This is one of my favorite areas in all of Walt Disney World, mostly for how many things there are to do in a small amount of space!
Shakira, I hope you have a magical time during your upcoming visit!
