We purchased 4 day park hopper passes through the military for my military spouse, myself and our 3 kids. I know both of us will be required to show our military ID, but our kids do not have one as of yet and are 16 and under. Will this be an issue?

Welcome to planDisney Carrie. Thanks for stopping by I will be happy to help.

First and foremost thank you for the service and sacrifice your family offered to this great nation. Your stay is less than 30 days away and you will be starting to pack and planning on where to start your day in each park. This family vacation is going to be magical.

Four days of parks is a full slate for any family. Whether you start at Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Hollywood Studios this family vacation is bound to be full of fun. Disney Military Salute Tickets can be purchased by eligible service member or their spouses, but not both. And they can be used by their family members as well as friends. Once you show one of your military IDs you will not be required to show the others. Children will not need identification either. So you will not have a problem using these.

I always recommend a nice rest day in between those four days if at all possible. Recovering is important to be able to carry on for the remainder of the visit. I love resting in the middle of park hopping, and the days in between. It just makes for a smoother experience. Now when I say rest I mean by the pool of course. Kids have unlimited energy but you will be able to keep an eye on them from the comfort of a poolside chair. If you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel all of the pools are dreamy. There is always an awesome theme, and some of them even have pretty good-sized water slides. Maybe you can take a turn or 10 with them.

Get ready that visit is coming soon. Don’t forget to act like a child while with your child. They will remember it for a lifetime I promise. Visit us again anytime at planDisney.com.

    Have a magical day,
