I purchased a 5-day park hopper pass on September 10th 2004. I still have one day remaining. Would the pass still be good for the one day I have remaining? Or would it have expired? I believe when I bought them I was told they never expire.

    Hello, Trudy,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney. It can be tricky trying to figure out if a previously purchased theme park ticket has remaining days on it that can be used.  I know that we've kept all of our old tickets as souvenirs (they also make great bookmarks!), but I sometimes wonder if we should be checking some of ours to see if we didn't use all the days since we often added the non-expiring feature, too.

To check your old ticket, you have a few options. If you are at Walt Disney World, you can go to any of the theme park ticket windows and ask a cast member to check. You can also ask at any of the Disney resort's concierge desks in the lobbies.

You can also send an email inquiry to ticket.usage@disneyworld.com with the following items:

    • Photograph or scan the front and back of each ticket
    • Your full name
    • Where and when the ticket was purchased
    • Purchaser’s name and form of payment
    • Phone number where you can be reached during the day
    • The email needs to be below 20 MB (including attachments)
Please allow up to 14 business days for a follow-up response.

Finally, a third option is to call the Help Center at Walt Disney World. When you call, please have your ticket with you.

And while you are waiting for the ticket to be sorted out, you can spend more time daydreaming about your upcoming trip! It looks like you'll be able to join in the 50th Anniversary celebration going on at Walt Disney World. One of my favorite parts of the celebration has been looking for the 50 golden statues of popular Disney characters scattered throughout the theme parks. In fact, if you like searching, another fun activity that can be done anytime is searching for friends of Pascal (the chameleon from the movie Tangled). They are in a garden near the Tangled restrooms (look for Rapunzel's Tower) adjacent to "it's a small world" attraction. There are also charging stations in this area, so it makes a perfect spot to enjoy a little break while at the Magic Kingdom.

Wishing you a magical trip! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
