Hi there, Monica, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians, so let’s get started!
It sounds like you purchased a
Southern California Resident Ticket back in February. I’m so sorry you were only able to use it once before the temporary closure of
Disneyland Resort. Now that we have a plan for
the phased reopening of the Resort, I have some good news to share! The expiration date for the Southern California Resident Ticket
has been extended through December 16, 2021. Your tickets may be used on non-consecutive days, excluding these blockout dates: November 21-28, 2020; December 19, 2020-January 10, 2021; March 26-April 11, 2021; July 4, 2021; and November 20-27, 2021. So, you’ll have plenty of time to schedule your remaining visits to the Happiest Place on Earth, Monica!
Just keep in mind that you will need a park reservation before heading to the parks. Here’s the scoop: To help enable physical distancing, theme-park capacity will be reduced with the help of a new park reservation system. This new system will require all Guests to obtain a reservation for park entry in advance. Theme-park reservations will be subject to availability. According to the Disneyland Resort, more details about this new reservation system will be announced soon. For the latest updates, I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, and on
Disneyland.com.
Last but not least, I recommend checking here to get an idea of
what to expect on your next visit to the Disneyland Resort. Since face coverings will be required, you may also want to check out these cute
Disney Cloth Face Masks on
shopDisney.com! I recently received my
Mickey and Minnie Mouse Cloth Face Masks, and I love them! I recommend checking the handy sizing guide to help you find the perfect fit.
I hope this information helps, Monica! I can’t wait for you to return to the magic soon!
