Hi Susan,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Sorry to hear that you’ll be changing your trip and I wish you a speedy recovery!
With most tickets, they expire after the final day of their use. So, with a four day, Park Hopper, the tickets would
expire seven days after the selected start date of the ticket.
If you take a further look at this
FAQ, towards the bottom you’ll see “Additional Ticket Information”. In that section, you’ll find details about unused, expired tickets and how their value can be used toward another ticket of equal or greater value.
If you and your husband decide not to go, though your tickets will disappear from
My Disney Experience, they’ll still be linked to your account. When you’re ready to book new tickets for another vacation, simply call the
Existing Tickets help desk and share that you’d like to use the value of older tickets for some new ones. I suggest having your confirmation number for the purchase flagged in your email or written down in a place where it’s easily accessible. That confirmation number will make it super easy for the Cast Member to find the tickets and it also helps you know the total value of the tickets. If you can’t find that confirmation number, the Cast Member should be able to find the information if you provide your email address.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful whether you decide to make the trip or if you plan another vacation in the future. If you have any other questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
