Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Daina!
You will be arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few DAYS! I’m so excited for you to be walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A., seeing the adorable Mickey pumpkins that line the street and feeling all the autumn magic in the air. You’re headed for a spook-tacular time!
Mine’s a military family, too, and I always bring the plastic ticket cards with me when we visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Even though you’ve linked those tickets to your
My Disney Experience account, your
Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets may need to be activated before you’ll be able to enter a park. Since you received plastic ticket cards in the mail, I’m assuming this means you purchased them from
Shades of Green; in that case, the tickets should be pre-activated, but you never know, and you should be prepared to show your valid and active military ID and produce the ticket cards. Cast Members at the tapstiles do sometimes need to see the actual ticket, so I always tuck them into a zippered pocket of my park bag just to be safe.
Daina, I hope you have so much fun at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and on your Disney vacation. I hope you’re planning to spend some time sampling delicious treats around the World Showcase at the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival – this
Disney Parks Blog article about kid-friendly treats and fun at the festival caught my eye, and I can’t wait to complete Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt with my Mouseketeers!
Enjoy every minute, and let the magic begin!
