Hey there, Christine!
Thanks for coming to see us here at planDisney! I hope you're getting ready for all the fun at your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
You ask a great question about
Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets and Disney Park Pass system theme park reservations. As you likely know, both are needed for theme park entry at Walt Disney World Resort.
I would address your question by describing it this way: both your theme park tickets and your Disney Park Pass system reservations are "attached," or linked, to your My Disney Experience account. Hopefully you have already linked your theme park tickets to your
My Disney Experience account and already made your theme park reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system. You can check this by going to the "My Plans" area in either your My Disney Experience account at
DisneyWorld.com or in the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
If you haven't already done so, you can
link your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account. In your case, there should be a Will Call Confirmation Number or Ticket ID that you can use to link the tickets. After you have your tickets linked, you can make your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. I always recommend checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see that the theme parks have availability on the days you want to visit.
With your theme park tickets and theme park reservations linked to your My Disney Experience account, you should be able to simply scan your MagicBand or your ticket card and enter the parks to play in all the magic!
While I don't think this is part the question you're asking, I'll mention -- just to share -- that theme park reservations do not come automatically with theme park tickets. You would purchase your theme park tickets and then make your theme park reservations.
Christine, here's wishing you all the fun for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you have more questions about making plans, please just ask us here at planDisney. We're always happy to share our insights and experiences based on our own Disney destination vacations.
