    I have purchased a 4 day hopper pass for my niece who was not originally on my reservation( but has since been added). Can I purchase a wristband for her and link it to her card number so she does not have to keep up with a card?

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel - I'm happy to help with your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    No worries - you won't have to fret about your niece keeping up with a card during your trip. You can easily purchase a MagicBand and link it to her ticket through the My Disney Experience website or mobile smartphone app.

    You can either purchase a MagicBand ahead of time from the Disney Store website or the Shop Disney Parks app, or wait until you visit a MagicBand merchandise location once you're at Walt Disney World (Most WDW resorts have a large selection available in the gift shop). You'll need to make sure your niece is set up in your Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience and that her 4-Day Park Hopper is correctly assigned to her. If you purchase the band ahead of time, it will come to you with instructions on how to assign it to a guest in your Family & Friends list using the ID number found on the back of the MagicBand. If you wait until you're at WDW, a Cast Member at Guest Services or at a MagicBand merchandise location will be happy to assist you in linking the band to her ticket. I purchased a special Haunted Mansion MagicBand for myself on one of my last visits, and it only took the Cast Member a few minutes to get me all set up and ready to go!

    I really love the ease of My Disney Experience, and the convenience of the MagicBands. My favorite part is not having to fish around for a room key after a long day in the parks. A simple swipe of the band on my wrist and I'm able to unlock my resort room door! It's magical!
