Hello, Erin and welcome back to planDisney!
How exciting that your friend is able to join you and add to the Magic! To begin planning together (including making
Disney Park Pass reservations), you'll first need to have your friend link the ticket to their
My Disney Experience account. There should be a number under the barcode that you can input
HERE. Now, if your friend doesn't have a My Disney Experience account (or doesn't want to manage the plans) you can create an account for them that you manage. When my father-in-law visited the Walt Disney World Resort with my family, my husband created his account, managed all of his plans and he just came along for fun!
The second step to connect your friend and the ticket would be to add them to the
My Family & Friends list. If you create your friend's My Disney Experience account, it will be quick and easy to connect. If your friend holds their own account, all you'll need to do is visit the My Family & Friends tab, enter a few quick demographics and whatever email your friend has connected to their account. With a quick "accept" connection, you'll be ready to plan!
You can check the connection by viewing your My Family & Friends list. Once you see your friend's profile there, you'll be able to make Disney Park Pass reservations, Advanced dining reservations and join the virtual queue for
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure.
Erin, I hope this helps as you are preparing for your trip. If you have any other questions, please come on back to planDisney where we're happier than Jack Sparrow aboard the Black Pearl to help.
Wishing you all the best for a pixie dusted visit,
Lauren
