    I purchased a 1 day Disney World ticket with a park hopper but I just found out that I will be able to spend an extra day at Disney! Can I change my 1 day park hopper ticket to a two day ticket without the park hopper?

    Hey there, Rachel, and welcome to planDisney! Spending an additional day in Walt Disney World means that the pixie dust has already started falling on your upcoming vacation! 

    Rachel, good news! You can upgrade your current Theme Park Tickets to add on your additional park day. This process is quite simple through your My Disney Experience Mobile app. Just follow the steps below to modify your current tickets in the app.

    • Open the My Disney Experience mobile app
    •  Click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the home screen
    • Select “Tickets and Passes” 
    • Select the ticket that you are wanting to modify 
    • An option to “Change Ticket” will display
    • Select “Change Ticket”, and you should see an option to add a day to your ticket

    While Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets can be upgraded to add a park day, unfortunately, they can not be downgraded. And removing the Park Hopper Option is considered a downgrade. However, you can reach out to ticketing services at (407) 934-7639 and speak with a Cast Member who may be able to add your additional park day while removing the Park Hopper Option.
